Patient adherence with screening guidelines is critical to prevent blindness from diabetic eye disease.   • Complete patient forms as required (paper and/or electronic) and secure patient signature at end of home visit.
  • Compile and submit weekly visit reports to operations manager.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred; or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Reliable transportation that would enable you to travel to multiple patient homes during the day.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record.
  • Willingness to travel beyond your immediate area with possible overnight stays an asset.

  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet contract demands
  • Develop clinical training and evaluation programs for field technicians
  • Develop and enforce clinical protocols and guidelines

  • Monitor and evaluate the quality and effectiveness of service delivery through the use of quality reports and ongoing patient chart audits

Qualifications, Education & Required Experience:

  • University degree in business or relevant clinical field; prior experience as a clinician a definite asset (NP, RN, OD…)
  • 3-5+ years of experience in healthcare management, preferably in-home care operations management
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct a field workforce and professional network
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of clinical operations, clinical program development, and clinical project management

Summary:

You will be responsible for selling Retina Labs diabetic retinopathy screening solution to primary care medical groups and hospital systems. In addition to the sales of the company’s core telehealth technology, you will also sell selected ophthalmic imaging equipment (i.e. retinal cameras) and diagnostic services.

The company will provide you with sales leads and target lists with contact-level information as well as a rich library of marketing collateral (presentations, case studies, white papers, ebooks…). You will be expected to call on these accounts to establish contact with key decision makers and influencers to secure demos and presentations of the company’s solutions. You will work from home with minimal to no travel beyond your immediate location or state. We will provide you with all the necessary training on how to present our value proposition, how to handle objections and how to close sales opportunities. You will be reasonable to managing your sales pipeline using the company’s CRM/lead management tools. This include proposal development, follow-ups and contract signing.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategies and tactics to generate revenues within targeted market segments.
  • Identify prospects, research target accounts and develop prospecting campaigns.
  • Present Retina Labs solutions to C-Suite and physician executives.
  • Qualify and close sales opportunities to meet revenue targets.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our product offerings, capabilities and competitive advantage.
  • Work closely with our device partners to offer integrated solutions to customers and to collaborate on joint sales opportunities.
  • Lead entire sales cycle from initial opportunity creation to finalizing opportunity outcome. This includes prospecting campaigns, driving the discovery process at meetings with both prospects and clients, forecasting, and ultimately closing the deal.
  • Liaise with the client services team to ensure success of new client implementations and pilot projects.
  • Manage client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of field sales experience, ideally in medical device, telehealth or healthcare IT/digital health field.
  • Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets with documented experience selling to C-suite executives, including presenting and negotiating opportunities.
  • Knowledge of the US health system; knowledge of the eye care industry and ocular health a definite asset.
  • Possess strategic and consultative sales abilities.
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills.
  • Highly organized and structured work ethic.
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong computer skills (CRM, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
