Derek's unique understanding and appreciation for aligning digital marketing best practices with go-to-market business development strategies has been the primary driver for his career path goals. During his six years spent with a digital marketing agency, Derek has established key skill sets involving customer journey mapping, content marketing, and enhancing online brand presence to increase customer engagement. In his most recent role as Business Development Manager at Icario, Derek established Account Based Marketing processes to identify new market opportunities and created targeted outbound campaigns using value-based ROI metrics with prospective health plan payors. As a true believer in creating synergies between Sales & Marketing, Derek is excited about the opportunity to collaborate cross-departmentally and drive future revenue growth for Retina Labs. In his free time, Derek enjoys snowboarding, golfing, motorcycling, four wheeling, snowmobiling, and spending time at his family cabin in northern Minnesota.
